Job description:
You will be right hand person of Executive chef who will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen and delivery of high quality meal.
- Food preparation and plating dishes
- TO Draft the cleaning schedule and fridge temperature reading
- Stuff supervision
- Menu planning
- Inventory
- Administrative task
- Control and guide staff canteen General operation
- To report any maintenance to Maintenance department
- To attend Management briefing if your require to do so
- To train junior staff and to support them
- To present live cooking as to entertained the guest
What is needed for this position:
- Culinary skill (college education)
- Knowledge of food safety and general hygiene
- Computer knowledge, Microsoft Excel, Word
- English and Swahili fluent speaking
- Knowledge of A-la-carte menu service and table D’ Hote menu service
